If you have a 10 digit DHK case number and have already interviewed at the U.S. Embassy, Dhaka, please visit the the Consular Electronic Application Center  in order to check your case status.

If you have a 10 digit DHK case number and have already interviewed at the U.S. Embassy, Dhaka, but your case status has remained the same for the last six months, please email support-bangladesh@ustraveldocs.com.

If you have a 10 digit DHK case number and have NOT interviewed at the U.S. Embassy, Dhaka, please contact the National Visa Center in order to check your case status.

If you DO NOT have a 10 digit DHK case number yet, please contact the USCIS in order to check your case status.

You have two options to return to the United States:

• Option 1: An U.S. Citizen relative may apply a new I-130 petition for you. For more information on I-130s, please visit: http://www.uscis.gov.
• Option 2: You may apply for returning resident status. An application for returning resident status requires evidence of the applicant's continuing, unbroken ties to the United States, evidence that the stay outside the United States was truly beyond the applicant's control and evidence that the intent of the applicant was to always return to the United States.

If you choose to apply for a returning resident (SB1) visa, complete Form DS-117 and Returning Resident Questionnaire and attach them along with your message at the below box. You could be eligible to apply for a Boarding Foil. Please visit our website: https://bd.usembassy.gov/visas/nonimmigrant-visas/lost-stolen-green-cards/ for more information. If you choose to apply for a boarding foil, then please scan and send the following items along with your message to the Embassy in the below box:

• Copy of your airline reservation.
• Copy of your current passport's biographic data page.
• Copy of the fee receipt.
• Alien Registration number (if known).
• Photocopy of your LPR card (if available).
• Other identifiable documents, for example: driver's license, State I.D. etc.
• General Report from the Police (Lost/stolen LPR card cases only).
• Proof of your arrival in Bangladesh (ticket, boarding pass, luggage tags, etc.).

Please scan and include the following documents (in .PDF format) for each family member you wish to include in your case with your message to the Embassy in the box below:

• A copy of the passport bio data page.
• A copy of the registered birth certificate.
• A copy of the marriage certificate and Nikah Nama if you want to add your spouse.
