U.S. Embassy Dhaka closed on April 9 in observance of Shab-E-Barat and on April 14 in observance of Bengali new year

Emergency services for American citizens will be available.
The Embassy will maintain normal working hours, April 12-13 and April 15-16.

DHAKA, APRIL 8, 2020 — The United States Embassy, including the Consular Section, will be closed on Thursday, April 9, 2020, in observance of Shab-e-Barat, and on Tuesday, April 14, in observance of Bengali New Year.  Emergency services for American citizens will be available on both holidays.  Please call (88) (02) 5566-2000 to speak with the duty officer.
