Event: U.S. citizens are invited to a Town Hall with Ambassador of the United States to Bangladesh Peter Haas on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 2 p.m. (Bangladesh Standard Time) both in person at the U.S. Embassy in Dhaka or via WebEx.
Ambassador Haas, joined by a panel of other U.S. Embassy officials, will introduce himself to the U.S. citizen community, discuss ongoing U.S. Embassy initiatives to advance U.S. interests in Bangladesh, provide updates on matters of interest to the U.S. citizen community, and participate in a Q&A session.
In-person attendance is limited, and confirmation of attendance will be on a first-come first-served basis. Those wishing to attend in-person should send an email to DhakaACS@state.gov with the subject line “TOWN HALL IN-PERSON RSVP” by 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Please attach a copy of your U.S. passport to the email. Please wait for a formal confirmation of attendance from us before making plans.
Please submit your questions in advance to DhakaACS@state.gov with the subject line “TOWN HALL QUESTION.” We will take questions until 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
For those attending virtually, we will send out WebEx login information via email on the day of the Town Hall. This will also appear on the American Citizen Services website two hours before the event begins.
