Town Hall – U.S. Embassy, Dhaka, Bangladesh

Event:  U.S. citizens are invited to a Town Hall with Ambassador of the United States to Bangladesh Peter Haas on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 2 p.m. (Bangladesh Standard Time) both in person at the U.S. Embassy in Dhaka or via WebEx.

Ambassador Haas, joined by a panel of other U.S. Embassy officials, will introduce himself to the U.S. citizen community, discuss ongoing U.S. Embassy initiatives to advance U.S. interests in Bangladesh, provide updates on matters of interest to the U.S. citizen community, and participate in a Q&A session.

In-person attendance is limited, and confirmation of attendance will be on a first-come first-served basis.  Those wishing to attend in-person should send an email to with the subject line “TOWN HALL IN-PERSON RSVP” by 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.  Please attach a copy of your U.S. passport to the email.  Please wait for a formal confirmation of attendance from us before making plans.
