Anti-Rampal power plant campaigners have called an “eight hour” strike or hartal in Dhaka city on Thursday, January 26, to protest the construction of the Rampal power plant near the Sunderbans. This “eight hour” hartal will begin at 6:00 a.m. and will end at 2:00 p.m. on the same day.
