On Nov 6 at approximately 7:10 pm, there was a security incident at the Dhaka Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. An individual clothed similar in appearance to airport cleaning staff attempted to gain entry to the airport through the international departures (second level) access point. Members of the airport security staff challenged the individual and were involved in an altercation that resulted in the stabbing of several members of security. The individual was immediately detained and the incident is currently undergoing investigation.
