Event: U.S. citizens are invited to a Town Hall with Ambassador of the United States to Bangladesh Peter Haas on Wednesday April 26, 2023, at 2 p.m. (Bangladesh Standard Time) both in-person at U.S. Embassy Dhaka or via WebEx (online).
Ambassador Haas will reflect on his first year in Bangladesh and discuss ongoing U.S. Embassy efforts to advance U.S. interests in Bangladesh. Joined by other Embassy leaders, he will participate in a Q&A session with the audience.
In-person attendance is limited, and individual confirmation of your RSVP from DhakaACS@state.gov is required to attend in-person. All U.S. citizens are welcome to attend via WebEx.
Those wishing to attend in person should email DhakaACS@state.gov with subject line “TOWN HALL IN-PERSON RSVP” by Thursday April 20th at 10 a.m., at the latest. Please include a copy of your U.S. passport data page in your RSVP note. If you have questions to ask the Ambassador and his team, please include them in your RSVP note. Please wait for DhakaACS@state.gov to confirm your seat before making final plans to attend in-person.
Those wishing to attend via WebEx (online) do not need to RSVP. If you have questions to ask the Ambassador and his team, please email DhakaACS@state.gov with subject line “TOWN HALL QUESTION” by Thursday April 20th at 10 a.m., at the latest. On the morning of the event, we will provide login details by sending out another message.
