The U.S. Embassy will be closed on March 26 for Bangladeshi Independence Day.
The Government of Bangladesh announced a government holiday period from March 29 to April 2. Bangladeshi government offices and private sector organizations will largely be closed from March 26 to April 4 and the government has advised everyone to stay home during this period. Hospitals, pharmacies, and kitchen markets will remain open. Public transportation and banking services will be limited.
