The American Center oversees “American Corner” mini-libraries in Chittagong, Sylhet, Khulna and Rajshahi. American Corner Rajshahi opened in February 2014 at the Language Proficiency Center, Rajshahi. The Corner was moved to the Varendra University Rajshahi in December 2017. The American Corner Rajshahi provides basic reference materials on the United States, Internet terminals, video viewing facilities, and English-language tapes, as well as a growing section of guidebooks for students wanting to study at American universities.

American Corners are information resource and outreach centers of the American Center of the U.S. Embassy. Books, journals, magazines, video and CD-ROMs with a focus on various aspects of the United States are available for anybody who visits. The people of Rajshahi are encouraged to visit the American Corner and sign up for its services.
