Call for Applications for the 2023-2024 Community Solutions Program (CSP)

U.S. Embassy Dhaka is pleased to announce a call for applications for the 2023-2024 Community Solutions Program (CSP).  This fully funded U.S. Department of State exchange program provides fellows with a unique opportunity to develop technical and leaderships skills by collaborating with U.S. community-based organization and receiving individualized professional coaching.  The program additional provides emerging Bangladeshi leaders aged 25-38 working in gender equality, peace and conflict resolution, environmental issues, and government transparency and civic engagement with a chance to build a global network of like-minded community development professionals.

Program Components:

Four-month U.S.-based Practicum:  CSP fellows are matched with non-profit organizations, private entities, and government offices across the United States where they on initiatives related to issues they face in their own communities with American colleagues.

Community Leadership Institute:  The cornerstone of the program, the Community Leadership Institute is a leadership academy that provides customized learning and coaching to each fellow before, during, and after the U.S. experience.  CSP fellows participate in online sessions and in-person workshops, receive professional coaching, engage in experiential learning through tailored professional fellowships at U.S. host institutions, and interact with other professionals in their field.

Community Action Projects and Networking Opportunities:  CSP fellows develop innovative community action projects in collaboration with their U.S. host institutions and implement these projects after they return to their home countries.  Fellows continue to network and collaborate with like-minded leaders from around the world on global development issues through alumni activities and opportunities offered through the Community Leadership Institute online platform.
