Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Carl Risch will travel October 19-26 to Bangladesh and India to participate in a series of meetings with U.S. diplomats and foreign government authorities. While on this trip, Assistant Secretary Risch will engage in bilateral discussions with Indian counterparts on issues relevant to international parental child abduction and U.S. visas.
The United States is committed to long-term engagement with Bangladesh and India on a variety of consular issues.
